Hey guys my brothers boat is in need of some new bungees to hold the rods down on the deck. I saw Gerald Swindle in a video a while back talking about changing all his out but I can't remember what kind he used. Are these all pretty much about the same or are there some go to products y'all prefer?  Thanks

I went with the Rod Buckles. They're a little pricey, and it takes some work to install them, but they are very nice, and get out of your way when not in use.

When I had the Ranger re carpeted, I installed all new bungies.  They will break after being cooked for a few years in the sun.  Don't remember where I got them but they are available via BPS and many others.  I know I did not buy from BPS and most likely came from Academy or Monster.  Very inexpensive and work just fine.  I think the  google search was for rod tie downs

These are fast to install and cheap to replace. If you keep your boat covered they will last for a long while.

I have a Rod Buckle too; love it. I might install another one. I had one of those black bungees from BPS and it didn't last but a few short months.

Lou tha tlooks like the one that came on John's 2014 Tracker. It could be since it came from BPS. His is still good and like you said he keeps it either covered or under it's car port .
