Guntersville Rally Considerations 2018

Given the circumstance that currently exist within our group, I believe that it would be prudent to consider cancelling the event for this year. Perhaps next year would be a better opportunity for the entire group to get together once again. I realize that today is the day that the cabin rental folks need to know what our plans are. I would like to hear from you about this proposal

Bud, I'm with you. With Lee having to sit it out... I will be there if it's a go. But I'm not opposed to looking for a better turn out. Maybe even a spring event, however, spring is even harder for me usually.

I would hate not seeing everyone but this has become a very busy time for me.
Next spring or next Sept. would be better for me.

I hate to say it but, I'm leaning that way as well. We're missing too many. I'm sure we'd have a good time but, it's really not going to be the same. I'm good with a Spring effort. As long as Lee doesn't make things difficult for the Doc, he should be mobile by then. Maybe we can get Fogy to show up too. Guntersville owes Fogy.

We should decide and see if we can cancel without having to pay a fee. I'll go with the majority.

Terry G and I have discussed this and both agree that we will pay our portion of any cancellation obligations. I think Connie will be more than fair with us and with Lee especially. Lee should not have to bear any of the expenses of the cancellation.

Looks like this is an official cancel. Has anyone asked Lee how much we owe in restocking fees. I'm in for two persons worth.

I texted him yesterday, he had a bunch of tests and said he'd check today and let us know.

If nothing else I would like an address to send her a card apologizing and thanking her for your generosity. It got to suck to lose that kind of guaranteed money.
