Professional changes

Will all the changes in the big three help or hurt the smaller leagues? Will all the sponsor dollars be used up  or will there be enough to support the little guy?

I think sponsor dollars will be out there for anyone willing to actually promote the company. These companies will do what they did in the past.

They're budget will be spread thin, don't know how that helps the new guys. I think that BASS and FLW are going to be hard to beat because of all they're exposure but if MLF can up that part of their game they'll be ok, the others will just have to adapt.

I think it will not only hurt the money but it may hurt being able to run weigh in tournaments. MLF's mission is to take over the bass world. They will either intentionally or un-intentionally cause changes in tournament fishing rules and permits from the states where the DNR's may not allow weigh in's. Think of what that would do to BASS, FLW, Highschool, and college tournaments! I think we are in a dangerous spot.

I don't think it will ever replace weigh in tourneys. The fishing world would be in for a hurting if that would happen. Those little tourneys fished by the average Joe are money making business for tackle dealers. The everyday Joe is the one buying all the tackle, which by the way pays for so much public land. Bass anglers buy way more than most others.
MLF style tourneys are never going to be the normal.

I don't believe sponsor money will trickle down. Sponsors spend money to help them sell product. Anglers buy what the Big Dogs use. They seldom follow pros on the lesser trails. JMO
