Stay within yourself

You have studied the lake and prefished. The bite doesn't happen like you thought it might.
Now is when you stay calm and blame the fish.
But also start at where you left off after practice.
You know where they were and what they wanted.
They probably are still after the same bait but may have moved just a little bit with the tide, falling or climbing water, or on the other side of the point.
Keep up what got you the bites and move the way the fish should have.

I have left fish the day before and had them move to the next point on me. It had to do with water currents and bait movement.

If the move is weather related they may have just moved out to the next break or buried up deeper in cover.
