New guy here with a question for you that have a 2018 Tracker Pro Team 195 40th anniv boat. Dealer has one and seems like a nice boat for our lakes here in western Mt. It comes with a Merc 150 4 stroke.
My question is, looking at photos that the front is high and the decks are not level when just fishing from it? Just wondering if the trolling motor comes out of the water when it gets a bit rough or if the shaft is long enough so that it doesn't. I know it will grab more wind being nose high but should i be concerned about it?
Thanks

That is a fairly new model that has been out a few years. It does set really high in the front and really low in the back.

I would assume that the shaft would be long enough for wave action, but don't really know.

There are quite a few new 19 ft with a 150 Aluminum Boats on the market now. Ranger, Lund, Triton, Tracker, Lowe, they all make them now.

Do some shopping and choose the one you like best.

If you buy that boat make sure you order a 52 inch shaft on an 80 foot lb trolling motor and you'll be happy with it. I drool over them everytime I go to BPS. lo lo

Thanks for your input. I will check with the dealer about swapping out the trolling motor.
My dealer has the spring special pricing till the end of May.

Just my opinion but look at the Lowe 195 class boat before you buy. I had a ST175 and I really liked it

Light aluminum boats with heavy motors, not to mention all of the rigging (batteries, etc.) in and on the back, well- they set bow high. You just need to see what you can live with.

I saw a Scott Martin video a while back, and Jimmy Houston was fishin' out of a Tracker that set ridiculously high in the bow. So high that it looks strange.

Good luck.

If you are going to go that big on the motor you may as well start looking at Xpress or the Ranger 198P  At least they are designed to handle the load(s)

I was just doing some research today on the Ranger RT198p . Its a really nice boat by the pictures but dealer is over 3 hours away but might be worth taking a spring time trip. Going through different forums i finally found what i was looking for. Guy has a Ranger RT198p and his brother has a Tracker PT 190 and bow on Tracker is 1 foot higher measured and about the same at the stern. Looks like the Tracker 195 has a high bow rise also. Better pack a longer handled net for the front on the Tracker.
Even with the grade slope of the decks on the Tracker it seems they get good reviews.

I was eyeballing the 198 as my retirement boat. I've since changed my mind though. The new Vexus has me sold.

No dealers even close for the Vexus. Think the workers are former Ranger employees so should be a great boat.

I have a PT190, essentially the same boat but about 7" less width and a maximum of 115 HP.  I have no regrets with this boat.  While the bow may ride higher than others I don't find it to be excessive.  My trolling motor is a 70# Maxxum with a 54" shaft.  I don't get any prop blow out but at the same time I'm not fishing in 2-3' waves either.  I top out at 49-50 GPS with my boat, the 195 with the 150 should get 55-60 fully loaded.

Thanks for the info on your PT190,  Goldstar. Boats all catch fish, just hard to figure out which one is best in my situation. Not worried about the boat being super fast but sure need it fishable ,storage etc. and stable in choppy lakes as we do get wind here in western Mt.
Thanks everyone for your input.
