2019 UBCS

The 2019 UBCS will take place on 13-14 April at Caney Lake (Jimmie Davis State park). The cost is $45 per person and Fridays meal will be furnished. The tournament rules will be posted at a later time. Jimmie Davis State park has cabins available that sleep up to 8 persons, as well as camp sites for those that want to bring their own accommodations. Contact Steve Reneau or Myself if you have any questions and to get signed up.

There are about 10 cabins available as of 12 Jan. The launch is between the camp ground and the cabins if you are looking at a map.

Great place to fish love the lake, lots of great places to fish. Have not fished it since they removed the slot. I have caught to 8+ one on July and one late Feb. I will be going to the shoot out for sure.

I'm looking for me and my Girlfriend to stay, if someone has room I'd be glad to help with expenses... I don't want anyone to be uncomfortable... if nothing comes open then I'll sit this one out...

Couple things for UBCS:

1. I need to start a list of those individuals planning on attending. Please post here and PM Steve and I.

2. I would like to have the money collected no later than the end of March ($45 per person)
you can contact Steve Reneau or myself.

3. I would like to collect as many as I can at the 3 March Caddo tourney, but we can meet someone at another location if needed.

Carl Johnson and I are attending. I've already sent Steve our entry fee check.

I also have cabin # 3 reserved; The following individuals are staying there; Don Garner, Carl Johnson & LSU Skeeter and his girl friend.

I was reading Ron's post about bring chairs and folding tables? Let me know if we need to bring that stuff.

Don, based on Ron's post I would say yes to bringing chairs for sure....just so we can sit around and BS in comfort..

Well, change of plans! My wife and I both had time to stop long enough to spend some time together and come to find out we are doing our easter on the UBCS weekend since me and both daughters have to be at work Easter Sunday...

I hate to say it, but we will not be there afterall!
