Water has warmed up to 77 degrees most of the lake, except the rives which both are full of floating crap and temps about 74.

We fished lakes on both rivers close to city landing and caught 25 or so fish.  The morning bite was good on frogs when you could find grass.  Nothing came off wood, not a bite, nothing.  Did get into a couple of places with the schoolers and had fun for a little while until the stripers came in.

Water is still real dingy to muddy most everywhere unless it is way away from the river and then it is that tannish brown look.  Caught all our fish in the backwaters, Culpepper, Brokeback, French Creek, and Taylors all had fish in them.

If your going into Taylors, the shoot has gotten real shallow and it is on plain or trolling motor only, if they don't clean it out it will be blocked off once water is back down to summer pool.

This coming weekend, there is a HUGE tournament over there, so if your going to 'fun' fish, I'd pick another pool......  ;)
