September 2019 UB IBASS official tourney

September 2019 UB IBASS TOURNAMENT starts Sunday September 1st.

Last month for the AOY chase guys.
We are excited to get everyone involved in a fun fishing contest.
Lets start seeing lots of fish pics and see how you compare to some of these big sticks we have around here.
This year there will be two zones and two AOY, Cool casters and Hot Rodders. Hot Rodders are in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and California. Cool casters are every where else.
Please let me know what zone you are in.
Top three from each zone compete in the Classic in October.
Everyone else can have fun in our team tourney in October.
Please have fun, and have a good time. This was created with you in mind. If you agree with rules and the terms of our club, all you have to say and submit are the words " I'm in" and where you are.

Well I gotta cull all of these if I want a shot, but I caught a limit tonight anyway. They were all on a frog, in pretty heavy stuff. The last one was crazy though, I saw it take it and set the hook, crack my braid snapped about, in the middle between the fish and my rod. I guess there was a weak spot in it. Anyway, I saw my line floating and figured I'd at least get my frog back. There was about 30 yds still tied to the frog. About 10 yds from my line it started moving, so I put the troller on high and caught it before it disappeared. Turns out my hookset was good, at any rate. I hand lined him in, he was stuck solidly, through the roof of the mouth. 15.25", 15", 13.75" 14", and 15"

My first fish I've caught since June. Caught both of them on one of my 1/4oz swim jigs that I built myself.
