A little weekend action.....

[No Excuses]

MLF BPT is fishing a derby about an hour and a half south of us. Dad and I rode down to Lake D'Arbonne Saturday and checked out the action. Didn't take the boat so we didn't see much. Did ride right by my guy James "Worldwide" Watson. I've met him before, but he was at zero on the scoretracker so I didn't speak lol..... Also Timmy Horton was in the same little cut, and he fished the fire out of it over his two days.





Sunday afternoon after church me and Jack-Man made a trip to our local lake. He managed one on a jerk bait, and I missed a good blowup on the Ol "Truth" hand poured jerk worm. (Don't he look like a young Andy Montgomery? )



If I get away from my desk and get enough progress made today, Jack-Man and I will play hooky tomorrow and go meet his Papaw who lives about 15 min from Cane Creek Reservoir where they will be fishing the Knockout round. We will put the boat in and spend the day watching these guys fish a lake we are trying to learn.
