Got out today for the first time in a few weeks after finally getting over a bad cold and only put 7 keepers in the boat, all on a War Eagle finesse spinner bait. Clear skies, temps 48-73 with SE winds 15-20 mph. Water temps 65 degrees and visibility from 1-2' in the areas I fished, tide rose 1.2' in 5 hours and the river is just below flood stage again at 20.2' with a lot of rain on the way tomorrow. Most of my fish came in 3-4 foot in or very near grass edges. No big bites just 1-2 pounders.
Retired and loving every minute of it!
