Having a hard time locating a cast control group for a 20+ year old Shimano Curado 200. BNT 1487 is the part number. I have the spring but am missing the cap and 2 spacers. Reel works like new otherwise and would like to get it back in action. It seems this part is obsolete now but surely there is something else that would work.

I had the same problem with a 200.  I found the right cap which was difficult, but I think I’m missing a spring that goes inside.  The cap was much smaller then other Shimano caps.  Reel works perfect other than that, the cap just broke in two, spring may have fallen out.

Big G, if it's a 200 CU or 200 (both are the original greenie reels) I've probably got the spring laying around if you want it. Just cover shipping as it won't fit in a regular envelope.
