While spending some time in Bourne, TX the wife and I fished Cibolo Creek as it runs thru town. I'd def call it more of a "pond" at this point as it's dammed off and water movement is minimal. Anyways water was pretty dang clear and while we saw a lot of 1-4lb bass and hundreds of bluegill we never had a bite. Could throw right beside the bass and they wouldn't even turn towards it. Talked to some locals and they said several bass over 10lbs had been taken from there! Looks like a fun little pond to fish at night or when it's really windy and they can't see you as well. Air temps were upper 80s, not sure of water temps. Saw bass fry and small bluegill fry too.

Sounds neat, you might have to slip out right at or after dark and try out a torpedo or devils horse :-*

Rudy, tks for sharing that trip with us.  We had a place like that at Ft. Benning, GA.  the entire lake (Small in size) was Gin Clear.  You would see large schools of Largemouth Bass just cruising around.  The only time you'd catch one was on a windy day or at night.
