Guadalupe river near Gruene TX

After seeing the sights around Gruene, TX we went to the park and wade/bank fished the river looking for the prized Guadalupe river bass! We never caught one but we did catch 1 small male Largemouth off a bed and tried to catch several more we saw. They were tucked up on the bank so we had to try and flip lures off the bank under the trees lol. A couple looked over 3lbs or so but we didn't get them. River felt great as the air temps hit low 90s. The bass ate a MT buzz bug in rayburn red. The kinda blurry pic shows what we were trying to fish.
