Got out yesterday for the first time in over 2 months, just been to hot for me to go but with overcast skies and temps forecast to be only 90, I decided to try the falling tide in the afternoon and the boat needed to run a little. Launched just after noon and fished until 6:30, tide was very high with water in the parking lot but dropped almost 2' buy the time I gave up. Caught 2 small bass and a 4 pound sheepshead so I did get my line stretched for sure but otherwise saw very little fish movement as you would normally see with the water falling so hard but it never got out of the grass while I was on the water. Water temps were 86-87 degrees and stained from the recent rains but I still sucked even with decent conditions. Hurry up October.
