I have a 2019 Ranger Z518C.  I discovered the middle vent of three on the starboard side of the stern was missing.  I've ordered a replacement from Ranger.  The part is "L" shaped and appears to a hose connection.  Looking in the back of the boat I can't see where a hose
that would connect.  It's just a maze of wiring.  Which of the three vents is for the bilge pump and what are the other vents used for?  Any idea how to reach down to where a hose connects?  Thanks.

They could just be vents to the bilge area. However, most boats have three overboard pump outs. One is for the automatic bilge pump, one is for the manual bilge pump and the last is for the livewell pump out.

You could run a hose in the livewell and the bottom of the boat. Turn on the livewell pump out and see which one it is, then the manual bilge pump out and see what happens. As far as the auto bilge pump out, you'll have to keep filling the bilge until the float on the auto bilge pump trips.

As far as finding the hose, it can get very crowded in the bilge area of the boats and it may have slipped in behind something. If you can get a picture of the bilge area we might be able to help, I don't own a Ranger but most boats are similar.

Yesterday, I was able to reach between wires and power switch locating a hose with part of the original connector.  I was able to connect it to a new chrome fitting.  I'll test it tomorrow on the water, but it looks like I managed to fix it with only a bruised elbow and one small cut on my arm.

Hopefully without an arm full of itchy fiberglass

I open the drain while still in the water and found: The outer most drain (towards center of boat) is for the manual bilge pump; center drain is for the automatic bilge pump; and I assume the last drain is for the live well pump out.

Cool, thanks for the follow up  ~c~
