Full moon and blue bird skies is usually doomsday for us but it was the best day of the year so far.
It was cool by May standards and the water was clear but the usual stain current running slow to the East. The day started with my buddies engine not starting, so we trolled West back towards bridge 7 at Sunrise.
A bone spook caught 'em early up to 4 lbs I notched 5 before my buddy started his charge. When we got to the bridge he took fish of the day at a hair under 5 lbs. on a sticko. There were no dinks today for a change and very few cichlids, we ended at Ten with about 15 LM and 2 P's.
no fish is to small to catch

Wow! Appreciate the report! I would have bet today would have been a very slow day. It was for me yesterday. Thank you for sharing!

Some nice bass.  Started rough with the motor, but pain had to be eased with those nice ones.
