Lol. I saw the pics on your FB page.  Cats will hit a variety of baits but this is the first time I can remember hearing of one hitting a topwater.

Caught 'em on crankbaits and on floating worms, but never have I ever caught one on a frog. Jackfish, but never a cat.

not a frog... but have caught them on buzzbaits before...
the lake in question was incredibly shallow with very limited spawning habitat...  the cats were in there either feeding on shad (spawn) or they were spawning themselves.

Nice!  We catch flatheads on jigs and swimbaits all the time.  Crazy...

I've caught catfish on Willowleaf Spinnerbaits, jigs, plastic worms and frogs here on Stillhouse Lake and Nolan Lake.

Caught a nice 8lb'er last year on a roboworm. I caught one on a Mepps spinner as a kid, and a couple on crank baits, but a frog is a new one on me!

I've also caught catfish on various lures and even flies, but have never caught one on a surface offering.  lo
