Rare summer outing today. The weather was extremely cooperative. Over cast skies, slight breeze, and humidity was bearable. Icing on the cake was that the bass fishing was phenomenal.

Arrived at 0 dark thirty. Made a decent run to the fishing grounds and went to work. Started with the frog and caught a few quickly. The frog bite died.

Switched to the popper, and it was lights out!!

Wrapped up a little after 11am. All in all, it was a great outing. Rare for this time of year for sure!! Thanks for reading!

More power to you for battling this heat and humidity plus you caught some decent looking fish. Congratulations.

Nice solid outing. I haven't been out in weeks due to the crazy storms dan near everyday.

Thanks again, gang. Yes, our outside conditions have been tougher than tough.  But, when you find the bass, they are cooperating. Notice on my reports, I say 0 dark thirty. That's because I usually have about 30 min of fishing time under my belt before the sun rises. I'm out there that early.
