DON'T DO IT!! LOL
Launched with the mosquitos at first light. Intended to run north side of Alley to canal that goes north to pumphouse. Fished on the way and not a strike, nor any signs of fish. Ran into several vegetation dams and the canal to north was completely choked off. Tried north and south side of Alley with no hits. No signs of any type of fish. Ralph and I fished hard and tried every type of lure we could think of without producing a strike. Got tired of detouring veggie dams and called it quits! Stopped at Holiday on way back and fished C11ext and flats with same results, no bites. Did see a few fish there at least. Now we got several heavy rain days coming, that should add to the challenge!! LOL Think I'll stick with Holey Lands for a few more trips, at least it's peaceful out there!
Safe Fishing,
