Got 5 hours of casting practice in yesterday but not a lot of anything else. In the water just before 9 and out just after 2, water was high and rising all day due to a rising tide, river at near flood stage and the 3/4" of rain the previous day. North winds 15-20 with the passage of a cold front just added to the tough conditions on the day. Skies were cloudy early but cleared by noon, water temps 62-65 and visibility 1-2' depending on the area. Caught 6 but only 1 keeper on a strike King Red Eye shad and most of the shorts on T rigged plastics. Better luck next time.

Retired and loving every minute of it!

Tks for sharing the trip with us.  Glad you had the opportunity to hit the water at least.  Congrats on the fish caught  ;)
