Lake Roosevelt Bass Fishing Reports 9/13/06

This is a fishing hot spot in the state. The lake is 63-percent full at elevation 2,118 feet. A pair of tournament anglers put together two six-fish limits totaling 44.38 pounds this past weekend by fishing Carolina-, Texas-, and drop shot-rigged worms as well as jigs and crankbaits from Windy Hill into Tonto Creek in 5 to 25 feet of water. Plus, the big fish of the tournament tipped the scales at more than 9 pounds.
