What's the best way to find and enter bass tournaments for specific areas?

I've done a few searches with no results near by.

I live in Athens, TN, maybe there is a club or organization near by I need to research.

Look in your local Tackle shops for flyers or even the local newspaper may list opens in your area

There is a lot of tournaments on Chickamauga and Nickajack on the TN river, not too far from ya.  I know of several clubs in the Chattanooga area also, straight shot down I-75...
