Well I wanted the Corks on one side of the UB sticker on the Legend and Beagle and I on the other side of the sticker, but Noble was taking the photos and well at his age you just can't teach him new tricks.  LOL   lo

Mike Noble

Mr. Fogy...you need to get your story straight.  This particular picture was taken with Beagle's camera and I didn't have it.  So don't go blaming me for the placement of you folks.  And with the sun location, we could not have gotten the exact picture you wanted.  I took pictures with your cell phone and Laurie's camera...I don't position the subjects, I just take the picture.

And with that group...lucky the camera didn't break.  ~roflmao

Question, how does one become a memeber of Team KaRu and get a fancy shirt?

Question, how does one become a memeber of Team KaRu and get a fancy shirt?

Well Mike and Laurie are on the KaRu ProStaff and Beagle and I are Field Staff, we all work on promoting the KaRu line.

Railroader

So how does one get to do that? I would like to get involved somehow?

It is a job, you would need to have a good game plan of what you can bring to the table for KaRu to help get their name out to the public and increase sales and or name branding.

I've been with Karl dang near from the start back with Gotstafish Tackle and I work for them everyday.  Were not here just to try and push a product but to use and show results with their products that we believe in and be a helpful angler both here on UB as well as on the water.  KaRu's good name is brought to light in our actions working with people, in tournaments, with shows and here on the net as well as everyday life; people know I'm with KaRu and if they don't I try and inform them of KaRu in a non-pushy way.  So to start I would become very familiar with KaRu, their product line and show how you use them to get results on the water.

Like I said it's a job and takes work to get any sponsor but even with hard work not everyone can be picked, that is up to each company to decide on what/who they need if/when an opening is available.

Good luck
Fogy

Rattle I'm sure you have used or are using some of their lures that would be the first steep. You have to believe in what you are telling about from first hand experience. The next steep would be to let everyone else know how good they are ( but only if you believe it yourself) by sharing success stories and even giving them some of your stuff to try out. I kid Karl all the time about his lures being so easy even a Katman can use them and they are and I have the proof  ;) ;D When I'm out fishing mine and catching Bass and am ask what I'm using I tell them and show them and even let them use my gear and make a few cast and that is the best way to explain how good a product is by letting them use it theirself.
Sorry didn't mean to get carried away but even though I'm not a part of KaRU's pro anything and will never fish in any Bass Tournaments I believe in the Quality on their lures and tell everyone I run into when out fishing how good they are  ;D

It's a job but it's a fun job. I think Ron and I have more fun as "Field Staff" though. I even get to do a seminar every once in awhile promoting KaRu. Next year I will be wearing the KaRu shirt during the boat show seminars.  ~c~

I have alot of confidence in the Poisontail Jigs. I use them exclusivly. I try and help Kark and Rudy by getting their name out when ever possible. I have even met some of the UB members at 0400hrs in the morning to get them some product to try while on their way to the lake. Look at me making it look like work. I never miss the chance to meet up with someone and talk fishing.

KaRu has a great line of product's. and those are some Great looking shirts  ~c~
Keep up the Great work  ~fff

Do you have to be on the field staff or be sponsored by them to get there name on your shirt? i just want to get a shirt, im not looking for a job..i dont mind promoting a company or product without acually using it, i have lowrance on my shirts and im not sponsored by them. i just think it looks cool.lol

Ron Fogelson

I was told KaRu might offer shirts in the future but as of now the only way I know to get one of these is to work for KaRu.

If you want I can ask for the digital embroidery file and get it to one of the local shops   :-*

Fish_myster

I would ask Rudy if I could use this Logo on my shirt, I did then he replied to me with the answer. Plus Crazy Elvis will make you stickers  ~c~ Both are great sponsers of UB
