I tow with a 07 trailblazer and am pulling a 482, I was wondering what drop I should use for my hitch receiver

I have a GMC Envoy and 2000 nitro 700lx  which is almost the same setup uyou have.  I use a 2 inch drop and it works great for me!

I'd recommend the 2" drop as well.  I pull a 482 with with my '03 Explorer Sport Trac, which has a standard 2" drop and it is fine.  I would also recommend a 2" tow ball as well.  My old trailer required a 1 7/8", but I noticed a little play in it when stopping after hooking up to the 482 trailer.

It's really hard to say what amount of drop you'll need as each tow vehicle/boat combination is going to be a little different.

I like to have the boat riding so that the front of the trailer is an inch or two higher than the rear.
