I have been making a few lures this week. This is my 3rd one. I think it looks pretty good. I sanded it with my hand and all the painting was done by hand with a brush. What ya think?

Looks good to me. My one problem with the regular Chug-bug is the paint don't stay on very long.
I don't mind not knowing all the answers, but I keep forgeting the danged questions.

i had thought about selling these on a small scale basis. it takes me about 2 to 3 hours per plug to make them. I dont know if anyone would buy them but i cd make one for someone. if anyone wants to give one a try let me know.

Nice job bro!  A buddy and I were making some lures a couple days ago also while we wait for Spring!

One question:  What/How did you go about making the skirt on that lure?  We didn't know what to buy to make it.

They look good, and I think they will catch fish. not being negative, but what I would do is put a quality hook on them, like a Gami or something, exspecially if you are going to sell them. I know myself as a advid tournament fisherman, any lure that come already equipped with a good quality hook, gets my attention.Good luck, hope you sale a million, and become famous .

I catch some toads on a chug bug!  I usually use the larger size.  It's one of my confidence baits.  My biggest bass, an 8 3/4 lber, ate a blue shad chug bug.  If you could paint some up like a bluegill, I'd definitely like to buy a few!!!  Let me know if you can and how much you want for them!!!
