Free Classified Ads through April 15th find out how!

We have just opened our Classified Ads and like any new place you have to have something there for people to come see it. We will be advertising on Google and with OSH to increase traffic but without ads for people to look at to begin with no one will place their own ads.

You have got to check them out! We just opened them a couple of days ago! Help us make them a success! From now until the 15th of April our Forum Members can place ANY AD FOR FREE!

All you have to do is submit your ad, and select "Pay Off Line". You will be asked to fill in a form stating what type of payment you will be providing. Type in FaceBook Fan and your ad will be approved free of charge no matter what Ad Type you have chosen.

As always, thank you to all of you who have made Ultimate Bass what it is today. Whether you are a new member or a member of long standing we appreciate your contributions to the site.

There is a thread in Dock Talk where the members I have asked members to give me feedback on the Classified Ads. I am sorry that you don't like them as much as the old ones. I would love to hear why in the other thread.

Change is never easy on everyone (especially me). I try very hard to make the site useful and user friendly for everyone but there will always be a few who just don't like change or don't like a specific part of the site and for that reason I have asked for everyone to give me their feedback and welcome it as long as you attach a reason to why you don't like it.

I must just be computer illerate. I've been trying to figure out for over a week on how to find stuff for sale and sell and I just don't understand. The same 2 reels in Hawaii been on there since I've cliked on it. I guess I'll have to go on ebay If anyone can help I'd appreciate all the advice you can give. Thank you in advance.

Well... since there have been so many folks with input on how they think the new classifieds should be set up, and I have listened to them, I have spent more time rearranging the classified ads and trying to make then more user friendly instead of marketing them. So right now if you click on the "Recently Added" link in the menu to the right (its hard to miss) you will see that there are a few things there that are for sale but unfortunately it isn't as many as I would like to see.

Even though I have made most of the changes that were requested there haven't been many additional listings. I would imagine that it is because folks are using their tackle to fish with and when Spring and early Summer is over there might be an increase of listings. The problem with and project is that if you don't get some people to post initial listings then no one visiting will ad their listings either.

I hope to have the time to market the classified ads and to be able to draw people in to sell their items in our classifieds. It is obvious to me that I am going to have to go outside of our loyal community to do that and I will because I refuse to fail
