I've come to like the Gamakatsu 3\0 EWG silver, but I pickedd up some red this afternoon.

Gammys are about all I use anymore on plastic. I especially like the G-locks! ;D I do use Mustad and Owner swimbait hooks though.

Gamakatsu 1/0 wide gap most of the time.

I use Gamakatsu and Owner. Of course, the size of the hook depends on the size of the bait, but 3/0 is a good all around size for most small to medium sized plastics.

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Over all Gammy gets the nod but if there is money on the line you wont find me with out a Gammy on every plastic

Gammys and Owners here. 2/0-5/0 ewg depending on what I'm throwing. For plastic frogs I prefer the Gammy skip gaps
This section under construction.

I use Gamakatsu G-Lock 3/0 for my 4-7" worms, and Gamakatsu 5/0 EWG for my 9-10" worms.

I use trokar and owner.

Owner for fun fishing Trokar in tournaments,,,, I've broken more Gammy's than I can count & the red ones were the worst ~rant ~rant ~rant

AUcreampuffwar scrape off some of the red on those gammy's if the hook is gold under the paint they are very very soft and IMHO should not be used with any type of braid or floro heavier than 10lbs

i have honestly never used the red ones. but you got me to wondering ron .....
