Woke up today with the intentions of helping a guy finish remodeling a house, then right when he was supposed to pick me up he cancelled. SO... hit the lake! On the water at 8:00 this morning, sun was bright, not a cloud in sight. Winds started off around 8-10 mph out of the NE and ended up around 15-20 NNE. Water temp still mid 70's but the lake I went to today was stained, 12" visibility.

Since this was a bonus day, I did what I never thought I could do, I strapped down 6 rods and only fished with #7 all day. 3/16 Elite Tungsten weight, 3/0 Trokar and a couple different worms... for 5 hours straight! Picked up 12 bass ranging from 10" to 16". You know it's amazing the difference a few inches makes on a fish lo Worked everything from under water humps to reedlines to sunken timber. Picked up fish on all of them. One funny thing was throwing a 6" worm picking up 12-13" fish so I switched to a 10 1/2" worm and got a 10" fish lo

Looks like I have a free day tomorrow as well so........  ;D
