Well Gents

I have been blessed by God to qualify for the 2011 B.A.S.S. Nationals at Ouachita River this early November.  Unfortunately work is not allowing me to go down and pre-fish prior to the event.  I am wondering if anyone would be willing or able to provide me a few pointers on types of water to look for, possible bait types or techniques, and what to expect.  I have been trying to do a lot of research but this is a massive body of water and having a bit of apprehention of trying to break it down in the two days of official practice.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and GOD Bless

Just follow the crowd into D'Arbonne Bayou and try to find your own slough that's holding fish. Here's the coordinates at the mouth of the bayou off the main river so you can start your Google Earth research.  32° 34.080'N  92° 8.686'W. It's a No Wake zone from the mouth of DB Bayou to the last house boat past the Hwy 2 Bridge. This tournament will more than likely be won in this bayou, it's just a matter of finding unused water and figuring out what the bass are doing. Good Luck.
