New Boat! Ranger VS1780

So the boat finally came in and we took her out today for her maiden voyage!!!

With two we ran 45 and with 4 adults it pulled to 42 (speedometer not gps). I didn't push it though. The new Evinrudes say no break in period but I still wanted to just cruise a while.

I have to say Ranger makes a beautiful boat and the small touches are great.

The only thing wrong is they forgot to send the bimini top and somehow in the order they put a nicer Lowrance on the console but forgot the bow one. I'm not upset because they didn't charge us for it and the wife is letting me buy a bow mount so I will actually end up with better electronics lol

Opinions we went with:
MinnKota PD 70 US2
3 batteries and 3 bank on board charger
Single side console
Flip up bench rear seating
Auto bilge and recirculating live wells
Trailer built in tie downs
Swapped a regular seat for the fishing bike seat (so comfortable!!)
Spare tire
Ranger upgraded the rims to aluminum part of a current deal

That's pretty much the reason we went with this model. I can fish out of it. And if we want to cruise around a pull a tube we can.

It was like a hurricane yesterday at the end of the day. Crazy bad storm and lots of other boat wake. My boat worked beautifully. Same storm and a pontoon boat sank! Crazyness
