Ok... you just can't say that without a story to explain how a squirrel got your spinner bait. Lol!!

Plenty of bass lures though. I've found a few good crankbaits while bank fishing.

I see what you did there with Nuttin Specialand squirrel.

Yea as Lou has mentioned I know a lot about losing lures to trees. So much so that if you scoured the General Tips section you would find a post of mine from several years ago on Tips how to catch a tree. :)

As a professional tree catcher I've also managed to catch submerged trees.

I've witnessed Rick's squirrel like abilities first hand. I bombed a cast into the trees and before I could say anything Rick was jumping from limb to limb like a S FL squirrel monkey! He saved me $6!!!

Lol lucky for you it was salvageable. I've had many just out of reach that I just have to look at while shaking my head with a tear rolling down my cheek. Lol
I lost a spook at one of the parks I fish at. It was hanging from a limb but you had to go wading to get it.
One thing you will not catch me doing is wading. Next time I went the lure was gone. I'm guessing someone braver than me went in for it lol.

Sitting in the woods today hoping to see a Buck. Wife was off today so I left her with the twins and went hunting.

It was a real toss up for hunting or fishing.

Figure I can fish on the weekend and won't have to deal with the crazies in the woods with guns.

Truth is most hunters are good people and know what they are doing. Only takes one though.
So far hunting for me has been Fred 0
Florida Deer 17 years (haven't hunted every year though)

I know how to hunt them back in Pa.

That is my last one from up there 2 yrs ago.

West6550

Good luck Fred!

Rick, I feel your pain. I have broke a few on a root under water and just quite couldn't reach then from the boat. Ugh.

That is some dedication right there though. 17 years and 0 Florida deer? I'd have quit a long time ago and taken up fishing permanently lol

I would have gone bass hunting... :)

Good luck out the Fred and hope you see a to . I have another friend from Florida who is back up in PA now trying to get one. He moved down to Florida a few years ago and so far he hasn't got a Florida deer either. He lives in Rockledge, Fl right now. He does fish down there . I'm trying to get him to stop by here sometime.

Another hunt with no deer.

Not really surprised. With the water up like it was even a lot of private land near the river was not huntable so a lot of guys hunted this WMA during archery.

To much pressure on a place this small. Deer are hiding deep.
