The Ranger is in the driveway and is on the charger as we speak.  Once the batteries are fully charged I will begin the process to power wash the trailer.  Following the trailer wash will time to service the hubs and check the break fluid, lower umit etc.  Once that is done I will fire up the motor on the muffs just to make sure everything runs as it should.

The final steps will be to fully clean the boat, boat carpet, seats, windshields and inside the lockers.  The boat has not been uncovered since December and has a coating of dust and pollen even though it has been covered this whole time.  My goal is to have it all done before the weekend.  If I can find someone to go with me I would like to hit the river for a run before taking the boat back to storage next week.

Almost forgot but I have to also order some re charge kits for my Mustang Elite suspenders.

These kind of things can be a real pain thats for sure.  As you start to trace out your wiring pay particular attention to any place where a connector is present in particular connectors that contain a crimp style splice or terminal connector.  You must have a meter active at all times to alert you if ia circuit is broken or re contacts as you move along.  I notice you have not mentioned anything about circuit breakers.  You need to examine each one as well as the wiring connectors.  Also if you have not load tested your battery it might be a good idea.  You may have some volts but very low current.

I have owned a bass boat for over 40 years and I assure you that all of us had to endure this kind of stuff.  Just part of the wonderful world of boat ownership.

Welcome to the UltimateBass Family we're glad you're here  ;)

There's lots of great rods out there depending on the Brand you like.  I just switched my rod brand over to Dobyns.  I have several Fury Series and Colt Series Rods.  I've haven't had any issues with either series so far.

For your price range I would suggest you check out the Dobyns Colt Series.  Their price range is around $79.99.  The Fury Series price range is $129.99 > $139.99 depending on where you purchase them at.  I buy my Dobyns rods from Academy Sports Stores.

Tight lines and good luck with getting that replacement rod.
